Arther Ray Cross, 82, of Marianna, Arkansas passed away peacefully Friday, April 14, 2023 at his home. He was born August 11, 1940 to William Wesley Cross and Ethel Mae Cross-Hyslip in Moro, Arkansas.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Shelby Pickett Cross; one son, William Ray "Pete" Cross (Angie); one daughter, Kalynn Sienkiewicz (John); six grandchildren, Kyle Sienkiewicz, Paul Sienkiewicz, Carson Cross, Evelyn Hirt (Quinn), Brittney Jones (Douglas), Tyler Willis (Sadye); seven great-grandchildren, Daxton, Eden, Deacon, Ray, Salem, Emmary, Titus; one sister, Virgie Powers and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Noble Cross, Lewis Cross, Joe Cross and three sisters, Beatrice Pearson, Louise Cross and Vicki Young.

Mr. Cross retired at the age of 55 from Lee County School District as maintenance supervisor. He also worked for Douglas and Lomason for 15 years. Mr. Cross was a 32nd Degree Mason. He loved hunting, fishing and playing cards.

Pallbearers will be Tim Young, Zackery Young, Colin Young, Pete Cross, Carson Cross and Kyle Sienkiewicz.

Services will be held Wednesday, April 19, 2023 at 12:00 P.M. at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home in Marianna, Arkansas. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services. Burial will follow services at LaGrange Cemetery in LaGrange, Arkansas.
