Margie Herrick, 92, of Bigelow, Arkansas went to her Heavenly Home on February 25, 2023 in Springdale, Arkansas. She was born December 1, 1930 in Thornburg, Arkansas, a daughter of the late Claude K. and Ethel (Doughty) McCormack. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Don Herrick, who died March 3, 2008 and brothers, Kenneth, Odell, Clonnie and Harold McCormack. One sister, Florene Fisher and her beloved grandson, James Adam Herrick.

Mrs. Herrick was a member of Harmony Baptist Church in Perryville and retired from Joe T. Robinson High School where she worked in food service for many years. She enjoyed traveling, quilting with the Busy Bee Quilters, visiting neighbors and spending time with her family.

Margie is survived by her children, Donald Steven Herrick of Blue Jay, Ronda Elliott (Larry) of Bella Vista, Arkansas, Barry Herrick of Bigelow, Arkansas and brother, Don McCormack (Martha) of Thornburg. Two grandsons, Wesley Elliott and Jordan Elliott (Ashley) of Bentonville, Arkansas. One granddaughter, Lindsey Herrick of Ward, Arkansas. Six great grandchildren, Connor Herrick, Scarlett Elliott, Dorian Elliott, Elizabeth Herrick, Oliver Elliott and Evelyn Mae Elliott.

Funeral services for Margie will be held at 3:00pm Saturday, March 4, 2023 at Harmony Baptist Church with Bro. Tony Harris officiating. Visitation will begin at 2:00pm. Burial will follow in Martindale Cemetery at Perryville under the direction of Roller-Chenal Funeral Home, 13801 Chenal Parkway, Little Rock, Arkansas.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Harmony Baptist Church or Circle of Life Hospice, 901 Jones Rd., Springdale, Arkansas.
