Mary Ellen Ludgood

of Paris, AR

Mary Ludgood, 52, a resident of Paris passed away Sunday, January 29, 2023 in Fort Smith.

She was born in Paris to the late Roy and Daisy (Bates) Ludgood. Mary worked as a transporter for the Area Agency on Aging. In her spare time, Mary loved going to the casino, watching her favorite show, The Bold and The Beautiful and most importantly, spending time with her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by a sister, Loletha Lanell (Ludgood) Brown and a nephew, J'vante Brown.

Survivors include three daughters, Kandi Amparan and husband, Adolfo of Paris; Lacy Diaz-Bassham and husband, Kane of Fort Smith and Rain Clements and significant other, Clint Crow of Fort Smith; six grandchildren, Gio, Milan, Isla, and Nico Amparan and Royal and Camila Bassham and two brothers, Coach Chuck Ludgood and wife, Nikki of Paris and Gavin Ludgood of Fort Lauderdale, Florida. An uncle Tracey Ludgood of Caledonia, Minnesota, as well as aunts Mary Donald, Sandra Faris, Bessie Harris, all of Jackson, Alabama, and Dina Savage of Mcdough, Georgia, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends left behind to cherish her memory.

A celebration of life will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, March 11, 2023, at Roller Funeral Home Chapel in Paris. Arrangements are under the direction of Roller Funeral Home in Paris.
