Edward Alton Pemberton, 85, passed away January 13, 2023 at St. Elizabeth's Place in Jonesboro. He was born August 14, 1937 to Oliver and Idell (Wiley) Pemberton in Lake City, AR. Edward worked at General Electric until his retirement and in his spare time he loved to fish.

He is preceded in death by his loving wife of many years, Norma Pemberton; his parents; a son, Barton Pemberton; a daughter, Tammie Groves; a grandson, Cody Pemberton; 1 brother and 4 sisters.

Left to cherish his memory are a son, Barry Pemberton; a daughter, Monica (Toby) Alexander; 3 grandchildren, Chaya Aird, Schylar Futhey and Sharon Futhey; 5 great-grandchildren, Kelsey Groves, Lillian Aird, Jasmine Aird, Adelyn Weir and Ophelia Bruton; 1 great-great grandchild, Brendon Hoyer and a bonus daughter, Sarah Pemberton.

Services will be held privately at a later date.
