Minnie Hargis Spradley, 81, passed away January 13, 2023 at her home. She was born October 16, 1941 to James and Nellie (Hodges) Hargis in Hickory Ridge, AR. Minnie grew up in Wynne, AR and moved to Bakersfield, California in the early 50's. She later moved to Jonesboro and has remained since 1959. She was a homemaker and loved to decorate for each holiday. She enjoyed doing yard work, antiquing, shopping and planting flowers. She was a member of Highland Drive Christian Church.

Minnie was preceded in death by her parents; 3 brothers, James Hargis, Bill Hargis and Bob Hargis and 2 sisters, Toni Tapper and infant, Beulah Hargis.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 65 years, Charles Spradley; 1 son, Scott Spradley; 4 daughters, Lori (Troy) Smith, Carrie Brummett, Kelli (Tom Royals) Miller and Jodi Spradley; 11 grandchildren, Lance Cartwright, Nadia Wright, Haley McElvaney, Justin Brummett, Janell Pyles, J.J. Barnett, Tyler, Barnett, Morgan Simpson, Olivia Devine, Anthony Jones and Alex Gallion; 14 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-granddaughters.

A visitation will be held at Roller Farmers Union Funeral Home, 1900 W. Washington Avenue in Jonesboro, AR on Tuesday, January 17, 2023 from 10-11am. A private burial will follow.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Scott Spradley, Troy Smith, Lance Cartwright, J.J. Barnett, Tyler Barnett and Hunter Simpson. Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Benjamin Mills and Dr. Stephen Woodruff.

Arrangements are under the direction and care of Roller Farmers Union Funeral Home.
