John A. Allison, 90, 0f Kensett, Arkansas went to be with his Lord on Monday, January 2, 2023. He was born on February 05, 1932 in West Point, Arkansas to the late Elsie and Bessie Green Allison.

John A retired from the Matthews International Corporation, was a faithful member of First Baptist Church in Kensett where he served as a deacon since April 27, 1975 and was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Betty Jean Miller Allison and two sisters, Florence Sutton and Katie Rogers.

He leaves to cherish his memory a son, Ricky Allison and wife, Cindy of Searcy; two daughters, Sandra Knight and husband, Greg of Searcy and Shanna Dillard and husband, Marcus of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Four grandchildren, Jennifer Cox and husband, Bryen, Brandon Knight and wife, Rachel, Garrett Knight and Allyson Carnitz; three great-grandchildren, Jaxon Gray, Jett Gray and Londyn Cox and one sister, Mary Bledsoe of Kensett.

The family of John A. Allison wishes to thank the Crossing at Riverside Health and Rehab as well as Gentiva Hospice for their sweet care and love given to him while under their care.

Services will be held on Thursday, January 5, 2023 at Kensett First Baptist Church with visitation at 10:00 AM followed by the Celebration of His Life at 11:00 AM. All services are under the direction of Roller-Daniel Funeral Home, Searcy.
