Matthew Owens Oxner, 49, of Rondo, Arkansas passed away November 24, 2022 at his home surrounded by his family. Matt was born September 27, 1973 in Helena, Arkansas to Frances Oxner and the late Jack Oxner.

Matt is survived by his wife, Amy; one daughter, Madeline Oxner; one son, Jackson Oxner; his mother, Frances Oxner all of Rondo, Arkansas; one sister, Tiffany Bonkoski (Jeff), of Heber Springs, Arkansas; six nephews, Chase Golden, Ty Medford, Roc Carey, JP Bonkoski, Barrett Medford and Cole Neighbours; four nieces, Lexy Medford, Brooke Bonkoski, Lena Neighbours and Willow Santos; one great-niece, Emmalyn Golden and numerous wonderful friends and family.

Matt is preceded in death by his father, Jack Oxner; grandparents, Owens and Mary Oxner and James and Wanda Bottorff.

Matt was a graduate of Barton High School, where he loved playing football. He married the love of his life, Amy, in 1994. In 1996 and they were blessed with a baby girl, Madeline Anne. In 2008 they had a wonderful surprise of a baby boy, Jackson Owens.

He has had many jobs in his life, but he loved his food truck business, "Big Daddy's Lunch Box". He loved living life with his family and friends. He enjoyed derby cars from a young age and passed that love onto his son, Jackson. Matt loved the outdoors, he hunted, camped and spent many summers on the lake in Heber Springs. Matt loved cheering on the Lee Academy Football Team. All of the boys held a special place in his heart.

He will truly be missed by so many but his memory will live on forever.

Pallbearers will be Mitchell Vondran, Robert Kennedy, David Griffith, Eric Griffith, Randy Davenport and Clyde Coley. Honorary pallbearers will be the Lee Academy football team.

Funeral services will be held Monday, November 28, 2022 at 1:00 P.M. at First Baptist Church in Marianna, Arkansas with Brother Kevin Tribble officiating. Visitation will be held Sunday, November 27, 2022 from 4:00-8:00 P.M. at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home in Marianna, Arkansas.
