Mary C. Cupples, 81, of Smyrna, Tennessee, passed away Sunday, November 20, 2022, at Diversicare Nursing Home of Smyrna. She was born April 9, 1941 in Marion, AR to Sam and Ruby Stacks Whitaker. Mary was of the Baptist faith and was in the retail business. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Victor; parents; brothers, Charles Stacks and Sammy Whitaker, Jr. and sisters, Della Rose, Ruby Smith, Edna Pardy and Mattie-Lou Signer.

She was survived by her son and daughter in law, Vic and Suzette Cupples; grandchildren, Jessica Clingan (Ryan) and Nicholas Cupples; a host of Great Grandchildren and brother, Benny Whitaker.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM, Monday, November 28, 2022 at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home, 201 N. Pine Street, West Memphis, AR with Adam Cupples officiating.

Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 PM Sunday, November 27, 2022.

Burial will be held at a later date.
