Frank Glenn Rose

Frank Glenn Rose, age 78, of Harrison passed away Wednesday, November 9th, 2022 at Washington Regional Medical Center. He was born September 14, 1944 in Yakima, Washington to Ival Rose and Frankie (Jones) Rose. He is preceded in death by his parents; his loving wife of 46 years, Sammie (Cantrell) Rose; two brothers, Jack and Bill Rose and special friends, Vickie Martin, Bob Unwer and Syvalene Unwer.

Frank was an avid hunter of deer and turkey. In Newton County, he had a hunting cabin where he spent much of his time in. He also enjoyed fishing. Frank was a proud member of the NRA and collected guns for many years. He traded guns as a hobby. Frank will be best known as a storyteller and a man who loved his family wholeheartedly. He was the type of person to always have a grin on his face. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his daughter, Teresa Rose of Harrison; his granddaughter, Shelby and her husband, Dylan Jackson of Lead Hill; special friends, Richard and his wife, Beverly Unwer of Huntsville, Arkansas, Butch Martin of Harrison, Gary Plummer of Waldron, Arkansas, Mike and his wife, Deb Ramsey of Ozone, Arkansas, Hansel Bradford of Harrison, Bill Jones of Fayetteville, Jonathan and his wife, Becky Unwer of Paso Robles, California, Richard Crowden of Hagarville, Arkansas, Ronnie Ramsey of Clarksville, Arkansas, Marvin Simms of Harrison; the District 9 Highway Department members and a host of other family and friends.

A memorial service was held Friday, November 18th, 2022 at Roller-Christeson Funeral Home with Pastor Curly Johnson officiating.
