Violet Louise Wooten

Violet Louise Brock Wooten, 95, of Marianna, Arkansas passed away October 14. She died peacefully in her home surrounded by all four of her children. She was born January 25, 1927 to H.C. Brock and Bessie Mae Case Brock.
She is survived by three daughters, Sherry Wooten Roach (Thomas), Shirley Wooten Foree (Bonner), Kim Wooten Jones (Jim) and one beloved son, Walter Andrew Wooten, Jr. (Donna); eight grandchildren, Marla Benson Howard (Stanley), Angi Benson Martin, Jeffrey Bonner Foree (Cybil), Melanie Foree Dunavan (Matthew), Walter Andrew Wooten, III (Toby), Natalie Wooten Johnson (Joe Don), James Caleb Jones (Emily), Megan Jones O'Neal (Adam); eighteen great grandchildren, Hannah Howard, Sykes Martin, Madeline Martin, Meredith Martin, Nate Dunavan, Coleman Dunavan, Paige Foree, Jake Foree, Josie Wooten, Gracee Wooten, Kenley Wooten, Mason Prislovsky, A.J. Johnson, Lily Jones, Layne Jones, James Henry Jones, Violet O'Neil and Parker O'Neil; sister-in-law, Judy Brock and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her sweetheart of 60 years, Walter Andrew Wooten, Sr.; her dear sisters, Winfied Hallum, Mildred Guest, Eunice Dees and four brothers, H.C. Brock, Jr., Max Ray Brock, Joseph Duel Brock and Marvin Brock.
Violet better known as sweet Two Mama, was raised in the Aubrey, Arkansas area, she went to school at County Line and Aubrey. She grew up in a big loving family and later married into an even bigger loving family. The center of her life continued to focus around her family and she took great pride in loving everyone in and around her big circle. She was a retired office manager at GES Inc. and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Marianna.
She enjoyed traveling, bird watching, growing flowers, was an avid sports fan and thrived from keeping in touch with all of her friends and family.
In Lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the First Baptist Church of Marianna.
The family would like to thank Odyssey Health and Patient's Choice Hospice. A very heartfelt thanks to Beverly Massey, Marie Watkins and a host of Hospice nurses for all of their dedicated services.
