Lester C. Miller, 84, of Jonesboro passed away Sunday, August 28, 2022 at NEA Memorial Baptist Hospital in Jonesboro. Lester was born April 23, 1938 in Greene County to Harold and Lorrine Miller.

Mr. Miller retired following thirty-five years of service as a mechanic for International Paper Company. He enjoyed dirt track racing in his race car and loved being a mechanic.

Preceding Lester in death are his parents; wife of 62 years, Linda Miller; daughter, Debra Miller; three sisters, Sharon Allred, Jackie Bowman and Norma Pemberton; one granddaughter; great grandson; grandson, Richard Hughes and a brother, Jerald Miller.

Survivors include a son, Lester (Betty) Miller, Jr.; daughters, Beverly Exum (Travis Jones), Becky Hughes (Junior); twelve grandchildren; several great grandchildren; brothers, Herbert Miller and Keith Miller and sisters, Melba Warren, Verna Goodrich, Cynthia Jennings.

Graveside memorial services at Rutherford Cemetery will be Thursday, at 10:00am, with Michael Book officiating.
