Frances Julia Burge

October 2, 1926 - August 6, 2022

We celebrate the life of Frances Julia Burge. She spent her early years in Dardanelle, Arkansas, but became a homemaker and military wife as an adult. She raised two great kids (Barbara and Quenton Jr.) while moving around the country for Quenton Sr's military assignments. In her later years, she enjoyed gardening, crafting and caring for her granddaughter (Katelin). She loved the Grand Old Opry, daytime soaps, word puzzles and going to church on Sunday. She made the best homemade tomato soup with vegetables she grew in her garden. She spent many happy hours in her sewing room, piecing together quilts or clothing and making all kinds of magic.

She will be missed by her daughter, Barbara Price (Cecil); granddaughter, Katelin Burge (Omar); daughter in law, Marian (Quenton Jr); nephew, James "Jimmy" PIgeon; grandsons, Lance and Lane Price and numerous great grandchildren and friends from across the country.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Quenton Burge Sr; her son, Quenton Burge Jr. and granddaughter, Shannon Price.

In lieu of gifts or flowers, please consider a donation to a local teacher, to help with the upcoming school year. Frances loved children and knew the importance of education. Let her love for them live on through your gift.
