Frances Darlene Taylor

On Thursday August 4, 2022 Frances Darlene (Skaggs) Taylor transitioned from this life to be with Jesus. Frances was born January 30, 1936 to Bennie Monroe Skaggs and Alma Maurine Scarbrough Skaggs in Hot Springs, AR. She is predeceased by her parents and her husband Major Charles H Taylor and Chuckie her loyal canine companion. She is survived by a step daughter Kathryn Lewis (Billy), her brother Ronald M Skaggs (Wanda Paes, special friend and caregiver), nieces Sheri Skaggs Brown (Jason), Kitty Smith (Rowland), and nephew Douglas Braswell (Camille). Vida Day, a dear friend of the family. Also a host of cousins around the country.

She was a active member/trustee of Western Hills United Methodist Church for over 50 years. She went to Baptist School of Nursing in the sixties and became an LPN. She worked in the Baptist Hospital and for several private physicians. Her last employment was at the VA Hospital in Little Rock in the Ear, Nose, and Throat Clinic until she retired.

She and her husband Chuck enjoyed camping (5th wheel), fishing, and traveling around the world. She will be missed by many.

The family would like to thank CARTI (Dr. Thomas Sneed and his staff) for their excellent love and care. She also had a few wonderful care givers from Home Helpers during her stay at Woodland Heights. Some but not all Sharon, Ebony, Felicia, and Heather.

There will be a visitation from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Wednesday, August 10, 2022 at Roller Chenal Funeral Home, 13801 Chenal Parkway, Little Rock, AR 72211. A celebration of life service will be held at the funeral home August 11, 2022 at 11:30 with interment to follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park, 7401 AR-5, Alexander, AR 72002. Brother John Brown will officiate the service.
