Ashley Elizabeth Boyt

June 5, 1973 - August 1, 2022

Ashley was born in Fayetteville, AR on June 5,1973 to parents who adored her. She attended the Anthony School, Pulaski Academy and graduated from Central High with honors and as a National Merit Commended Scholar. She attended Bryn Mawr College in Pennsylvania. Ashley attended summer camps in Arkansas and Texas and also enjoyed beach time at her paternal grandparents home in Sarasota, Florida and lake time at her maternal grandparents' lake house in Arkansas. Holidays were the best, with a large extended family including a great grandmother, grandparents, aunts, uncles, many cousins, extended family and a multitude of friends.
Fordyce and Temperance Hill were favorite gathering places with precious memories.
Ashley was an avid reader who always enjoyed reading a good book, loved playing tennis and snow skiing with her dad. She accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at age 7 at St. Paul's Church in Fayetteville.
Though much of her growing up years were seemingly idyllic, at some point all that changed, and the valleys became more frequent than the peaks. Ashley suffered mightily with addiction and mental illness.
She hated it and fought it as long as she could.
We as her family remained involved and along with some faithful friends who stuck with us throughout the years, we prayed incessantly and never gave up hope. In Christ alone our hope is found. For those who knew her please remember her heart, for that is what never changed. She was a child of God.
She was preceded in death by grandparents, Graydon and Eileen Parham of Fordyce; Colonel John and Jo Boyt of Sarasota; uncle, Jay Parham of Fordyce and aunt Mary Jo Sullivan of Little Rock.
She leaves behind her father and sweet stepmother, Jim and Kathy Boyt of Pittsburgh, PA; mother, Dianne Woods and son, Michael of Little Rock; two half siblings, Zachary and Quinn of PA; two uncles from AR and CA, an aunt from GA; cousins in AR and CA; special cousins, Mike Sullivan and Paige Parham from Little Rock, John David Parham from Conway and a very large extended family. She loved everyone dearly.
Let us hold her dearly in our hearts.

''On that day you will realize that I am in my Father, and you are in me, and I am in you.''
John 14:20
