Terriel Lewis McLaughlin, 63, of Ozark passed away July 31, 2022.

He was born January 6, 1959 in Searcy to Doil and Joyce (Voyles) McLaughlin.

Terriel was a U of A graduate with a BA in History. He worked at Western Arkansas Youth Shelter (WAYS) for twenty years, until he retired. He also worked as a substitute teacher at Franklin County Schools and as a social worker for the Arkansas Department of Health. Terriel loved children and his fur babies. He enjoyed sitting on the front porch, fishing, hunting and wood crafts.

Survivors include his wife, Anna (Permenter) McLaughlin of the home; one daughter, Tiffany Williams (Scott) of Fayetteville; one brother, Greg McLaughlin of Pleasant Plains and nephews and niece, Tyler and Nathan McLaughlin, William Baker, Josh and Jonathan McGuire, Thomas Cunningham and Tonya Gardner.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Pallbearers are Greg McLaughlin, Tyler McLaughlin, Robert Puentez, William Baker, Nick Feemster and Shane Martin.

Funeral services will be Thursday, August 4, 2022 at 10:00am at Pleasant Plains United Methodist Church. Burial will follow at Putman Cemetery.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
