Gail Smith, 86, of Mount Pleasant passed away July 24, 2022.

She was born April 26, 1936 in Lafferty, Arkansas to Claude and Dovie (Moser) Edwards.

Gail enjoyed going to church, yard sales and gardening. She loved her family very much.

Survivors include one son, Mark Smith; two daughters, Denise Baily (Frankie) of Sidney, Davonda Bland of Melbourne; two brothers, D.R. Edwards (Beth) of Mount Pleasant, Don "Pete" Edwards (Linda) of Melbourne; one sister, Ortez Logans of Melbourne; twelve grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, E. Marshell Smith.

Pallbearers are Gerrick Smith, Logan Smith, Blake Bailey, David Bailey, Jordon Lawrence and Jeremy Lawrence.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday, July 27, 2022 at 10:00am at Reeves Cemetery on the Guion Road, with her nephew, Philip Edwards officiating.
