Glenna Faye Treat-Riggins

of Conway, AR

August 1, 1937 - June 27, 2022

Glenna ''Faye'' Treat-Riggins, 84, of Conway, Arkansas, left her earthly life surrounded by loved ones on June 27, 2022 and was met by the outstretched arms of her heavenly Father.

Faye was born in Marshall, Arkansas, to the late Roy and Elsie Martin Massey. Left to cherish her memory are her five children, Marsha (Keith) Clark, Mary (John) Sitler, Troy (Robin) Treat, Roy Treat and Mark (Tammie) Treat; three step-children, Dennis (Kathy) Riggins, Sherrie (Kurt) Lewis and Alan (Dena) Riggins; along with eighteen grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren; a sister, Rose (Carl) Harrington; sister-in-law, Sharon Massey and brother-in-law, Fayburn (Lynn) Riggins.

She is preceded in death by her parents; the love of her life and father of her children, Albert Treat, Jr., with whom she was married for 44 years until his passing; Jerry Riggins, with whom she was married for 18 years; her brother, Roy Gene Massey; and a grandson, Jay David Clark.

In simply meeting Faye, her gentle and gracious spirit was immediately and abundantly clear. She had an immense gratitude for the simple things in life and enjoyed spending time with her family above all else. With a successful career in the banking industry behind her, she spent her retirement years with her children and grandchildren watching her beloved Razorbacks and calling the Hogs, hosting holiday gatherings and enjoying her favorite food group ''dessert". She loved a party of any kind because that meant she was having cake, which she happily signed up to bring. In her spare time, Faye was an avid reader and loved listening to music and dancing.

Faye's sweet, caring and kind demeanor illuminated one very important aspect of her life: her profound acceptance in Jesus and the belief that He had a plan. She was a member of the New Hope Baptist Church in Conway, Arkansas, and spent many years there attending services with her family. Faye loved to sing, especially gospel hymns, and would often take requests from her friends. She was known for saying that when her life was over she was "excited to see Jesus". We know her excitement was more than she ever dreamed it would be.

Faye's visitation will be on Friday, July 1 at 10:00 a.m., followed immediately by the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at the Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway, Arkansas. Interment will be directly after the service at the East Lawn Cemetery in Marshall, Arkansas at 2:00 p.m.

Brother Roy Jutze will officiate. Pallbearers will be Caleb Clark, Jared Clark, Matt Hendrix, Seth Powell, Andrew Roberson, Chandler Ferrand, Greg Massey and Eric Massey. Honorary pallbearers are Austin Turney, Andrew Turney, Scott Turney and Ben Smith.

Special thanks to the staff at Seeds of Love in Greenbrier, Arkansas, for their special care and attention to Faye over the past several months.

The family would ask that those wishing to donate, rather than send flowers, do so to the Alzheimer's Association using the link provided.
