Billy L Harding, age 84, was born in Roland, Arkansas on October 25, 1937. Born to Rube Harding and Esther Harding (Clifton).

Proceeded in death by his parents, Rube and Esther Harding; daughter, Donna Harding Miller; brothers, John (Betty) and Ray Harding and sisters, Evelyn Taylor and Ann King.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Peggy Harding (Davidson) of Roland; Children, Kim (Steve) Spangler of Conway and Jason Harding of Roland.
Brother, Wilbur Harding of Roland; Sister-in-laws, Norma Harding of Little Rock and Barbara Butler of Roland.

Grandchildren, Kandi (Michael) Manes, Savannah (William) Morgan, Blakelea (Stephen) Leach, Chloe Harding, Josh (Tiffany) Spangler, Trey (Hannah) Miller and Samantha (Blake) McFadden. Twelve great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Billy was a 1955 Graduate of Joe T. Robinson High School. From there he enlisted in the United States Air Force. He was assigned to the 96th Supply Squadron. While in the Air Force, he was the pitcher for the Air Force Baseball Team. He traveled worldwide playing ball. Once out of the Air Force, he enjoyed playing fast pitch softball and in 1973, he was the MVP of the Arkansas State Tournament. He retired from Harvest Foods, and after retirement, he enjoyed hunting, taking care of Rainey Cemetery and spending time with family. His grandchildren and great-grandchildren were the "Light of his Life".

Funeral service will be 10:00 A.M., Monday, June 27, 2022, Monnie Springs Assembly of God Church, 18807 Ross Hollow Road, Roland, Arkansas. Visitation 4:00 6:00 P.M., Sunday at Roller Chenal Funeral Home, 13801 Chenal Parkway, Little Rock, Arkansas (501-224-8300). Interment will be at Rainey Cemetery, Roland, Arkansas.
