Veronica Schluterman

Veronica Irene Schluterman, 93, of Paris, Arkansas passed away in Charleston, June 15, 2022 surrounded by her loving family.

She was born November 14, 1928 in Rhineland, Texas to her parents, Fred and Mary (Albus) Decker. Veronica was a devout and faithful Catholic. She loved her family, cooking, hummingbirds, gardening and flowers. She enjoyed quilting with the St. Joseph quilting group and was a member of St. Joseph Mother Society.

She is preceded in death by her parents listed above; her husband, Leonard Schluterman; a daughter, Sharon Schluterman, grandchildren, Brandi Greer, Chase Schluterman, Christopher Schluterman, Curtis Spence and brothers, George Decker, Raymond Decker and Edward Decker.

She is survived by her children, Steven Schluterman and wife, Velta of Fort Smith, Louis Schluterman and wife, Susie of Charleston, Charlotte Caddell and husband, Fred of Fort Smith, Phillip Schluterman and wife, Sandra of Carrollton, TX, Janice Goodson and husband, Mark of Springdale and Virginia Spence and husband, Lance of Clarksville. Fourteen grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Harold Schluterman and wife, Alice; sisters-in-law, Irene Seiter, Mary Alice Knittig, Jeannette Frederick and Mary Jane Schluterman.

Rosary will be held at 6:00 p.m. Friday, June 17, 2022 followed by a visitation at 7:00 p.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Paris.

Funeral Mass service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 18, 2022 at St. Joseph Catholic Church. officiated by Fr. Reginald Udouj O.S.B. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.

Service and funeral arrangements are under the direction of Roller Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Blake Schluterman, Joshua Schluterman, Heath Schluterman, Andrew Schluterman, Michael Schluterman, Taylor Goodson, Tanner Spence and Stanton Greer.

Honorary Pallbearers will be the St. Joseph Mother's Society.

The family would like to thank the Greenhurst Nursing Staff for all the love and care our mother received.
