Patsy ''Pat'' Ruth Annie Marie Dacus Homard, of Searcy, passed away Saturday, May 28, 2022, at her new home in Colleyville, Texas with her family by her side. Pat was predeceased by her husband, Billy Joe Homard, brother, Robert Joe Dacus, sister-in-law, Helen Dacus, nephew, Jeff Dacus, brother-in-law, Richard Homard, and sister-in-law, Margie Brown Homard.

Pat was born June 24, 1935, to the late Robert Lee Dacus and Helen Mae (Garrison) Dacus in Searcy, Arkansas. On June 18, 1954, Pat married the love of her life, Billy Joe Homard of Searcy, Arkansas. She was a stay-at-home mom while her children were young. When they started growing up, she began working with Avon off and on for about 20 years. After becoming a district manager, she and Bill loved traveling the world with Avon.

Pat and Bill moved to Searcy in 2009, to be back ''home'' and close to family. She became an active member of the United Methodist Church of Searcy the moment she stepped foot in the doors. She loved God and her church. It is the same church she and Bill were married and where two of her four children were christened. She was proud to become the first female usher at the church and was active with the First United Methodist Women, helping with many of the activities throughout the year and volunteering at the Thrift Shop associated with the church.

Pat proudest accomplishments were of wife and mother. She was active and held leadership roles in PTA, Boy Scouts, and Girl Scouts. She chauffeured thousands of miles for her four children, served countless meals to her family and enjoyed decorating her home and hosting friends and family with her tremendous cooking over the years. She loved playing bridge with her friends and Skip-Bo and Tripoley with her family. She told many that she would live her life all over again, as long as she could have the same people in it. She was loved by many and will be missed by all.

She is survived by her children: Mark (Amy) of Rochester, Minnesota, Terri (Kevin) Genuske of Grapevine, Texas, Tracie (Jehri) Lawson of Colleyville, Texas, Richard (Cathy) of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, 11 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren with 2 more great-granddaughters on the way, her sister, Johnnie Ruth Dacus Amonette (Rex) and sister Nancy Jo Dacus Thompson (Bobby), Robert Dacus (Nancy Baker), and their families, and many, much loved, friends and family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are suggested to Searcy First United Methodist Church (304 N. Main Street in Searcy, Arkansas 72143, with a phone number of 501-268-5896) with designations to two of her dearest organizations: the First United Methodist Thrift Shop in Searcy, Arkansas or the First United Methodist Women's group in Searcy, Arkansas.
