Sharon Dee Powell, of Mountain View Arkansas, passed away on April 12th 2022. Sharon was born on June 13th, 1938, to Lawton (LB) and Carmen Powell in Yampa, Colorado. They then moved to California and she graduated from Downey High School, pursuing a career in office administration.

Sharon had many beautiful natural talents including playing the piano and painting. Both beautiful inside and out, she was named Miss Downey and Miss Palm Springs and even rode in the Rose Parade. She always exhibited grace and beauty. Sharon was an American Patriot and loved her Country. A devout Christian, she spent her sunset years faithfully serving Christ.

Sharon is preceded in death by her parents, Carmen and LB; brothers Max and Rex; and her eldest son, Steven. Her living family includes children Stacey and Curt Larsen; Michael and Christina Flavin. Her grandchildren are Amanda Crockett, Brady, Frankie, Anna, Alex and Alena. Her great-grandchildren are Malcolm and Jamison Young and Raena Simpson.

Pallbearers will be her son Michael Flavin and Curt Larsen. Services are to be held on April 20, 2022 at 10am at the Roller-Crouch Funeral Home. Pastor Will Thompson will be officiating the service and her final resting place will be at the Flatwood Cemetery alongside Carmen and LB.
