Jesse Shane Boshears

of Perryville, AR

March 11, 2001 - March 3, 2022

Jesse Shane Boshears passed away March 03, 2022. He was born March 11, 2001. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Carl Boshears and Michael Crain. He is survived by his parents, Shane Boshears (Nikki Long, Ashlee, Milan, Aubree) and Shelly (Chad) Vincent; fiancé, Maggie Skinner; brother, Camden Boshears; stepbrother, Tyler Vincent; stepsister, Brilee Vincent; grandparents, Opal Boshears, Mary (Gary) Coleman, Shelia (Larry) Vincent; great-grandmother Versee Crain; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and a multitude of friends.

Jesse grew up in Perryville surrounded by a large family who adored him. He attended Perryville Schools for all 12 years. While playing football for the Mustangs he was a team leader and helped the team form the motto ''Stand Strong'' which became the motto of his life and which he embodied to the end. He signed to play football for the University of Central Arkansas and later transferred to Arkansas Tech. He maintained an excellent grade point average and enjoyed playing football, meeting new people, and forming new relationships.

Jesse was so many things: A son, fiancé, grandson, brother, nephew, cousin, friend, athlete, musician, hunter, fisherman, a mentor to children, and above all a Christian. And let's not forget he was a food connoisseur. He enjoyed a good meal and the fellowship that came with it. He was a warm, loving, gentle giant.

Jesse attended the Hollis Jesus Name Pentecostal church and from an early age showed a special bond to Jesus with his testimony, praise, and music. We will be forever in debt to Brother Rick and Sister Pat for their love and support to him.

Jesse entered the hospital on June 29th to begin a nearly 9-month battle. He endured every obstacle that came his way with the complete faith of a Christian along with the dignity and determination of a strong Soul until God said ''enough''. Though it was not what we wanted, it was what he needed and somehow what we asked for which was: ''A complete healing so Jesse could spread God's word and use his life for the Glory of God''. Most importantly to those who loved him, he will have - No More Suffering.

His legacy will be 20 years of Christian light, love, and inspiration spread everywhere he went and to everyone he met.

The family would like to express their deep appreciation to the Doctors, Nurses, and Staff at Baptist Hospital for the care, respect and love they showed Jesse during his long stay there.

Finally, ''we can all be inspired to do things a little differently just because of how Jesse fought to live one more day every day. We should be driven by his story to resist small setbacks and little inconveniences because life is precious. It's that simple'' (NB)
