Mary Jane Ford Weldon passed away February 15, 2022 in Southaven, Mississippi. She was born October 6, 1940 in Marked Tree to parents Verlon ''Rex'' Ford and Myrtis Jewell Rook Ford.

Mary is survived by her brother Jimmy carl Ford (Jean), her sister-in-law Solonge Ford, her two children Bridgette Williams and Edgar Harrison Weldon III ''Trey'', her bonus son Nathaniel ''Nat'' Reed (Helen), her grandchildren; Josh McCoy, Brittany Wooley (Michael) and Tracey Weldon, her great grandchildren; Bryleigh McCoy, Maylee and Lathan McCoy, Jade Weldon, Skylar, Aundreauna, Conner, Tyler and Ethan Lemley. As well as many special nieces, nephews, cousins and many DEAR FRIENDS and loving caregiver Barbara Jean Ford.

She is preceded by her parents, her brother Billy Ray Ford, her sister Carolyn Kay Ford Shumaker and brother-in-law Tommy Lewis Shumaker.

''We can shed tears that she is gone, and we can smile because she has lived. It would be wrong to say Mary Jane lost her battle because she never stopped fighting. No matter how sick she was, she was always determined. Through her we know what resilience and perseverance truly look like. There was no quit in Mary Jane. Her joy for life and indomitable spirit kept her pushing through the pain''.
