Betty Featherston

Betty Featherston, 88, a resident of Subiaco, passed away Saturday, February 5, 2022, at Mercy Hospital in Paris.

She was born March 27, 1933, in Mesquite, New Mexico to the late Arthur Francis and Blanch (Mason) Cunningham. Betty was a member of Bethel Missionary Baptist Church in Paris. In Betty's younger days, she enjoyed playing volleyball and basketball. In her spare time, Betty enjoyed sewing, collecting dolls and most importantly, spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Finis Featherston; a daughter, Catherine Featherston; two brothers and three sisters.

Survivors include three sons, John Featherston and wife, Leona of Fort Smith, Ron Featherston and wife, Sue of Lavaca and Steve Featherston and wife, Tali of Subiaco; two daughters, Terri Friemel and husband, Michael of Paris and Lori Glover and husband, Keith of Alexander; fifteen grandchildren, Christi Wisleder, Cyndi Bishop, Amber Shook, Josh Featherston, Autumn Featherston, Kimmie and Ashley Brandenburg, Kayla, Nick and Logan Featherston, Blake and Zach Snow and Hannah, Jonathan and Jared Glover and nineteen great grandchildren.

Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 8, 2022, at Roller Funeral Home in Paris.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 9, 2021, at McKendree Cemetery near Subiaco. Burial will follow under the direction of Roller Funeral Home in Paris.

Pallbearers will be Betty's sons-in-law and grandsons.
