Lenola "Notie" Hendrix

of Marshall, AR

September 22, 1944 - January 20, 2022

It is with great sadness that the family of Lenola "Notie" Hendrix announces her passing on January 20th, 2022 at her daughter's home in Lynchburg, MO. She was a resident of Marshall, Arkansas and was born in Marshall, Arkansas on September 22nd, 1944 to Greenberry Fount Beavers and Colima Jane Sisk Beavers.

She was known for taking care of others and in later years for bookkeeping at Ferguson's in St. Joe and later at Marshall Milling. Notie was best known for her baking, crocheting, and the twinkle in her eye. She was a long time member of Martin Box Mennonite Brethren Church and a 40 year member of the Marshall Chapter of the Eastern Star.

Survivors include her children, Daniel C. Hendrix and wife Marni of Siloam Springs, Teresa M. Fields and husband John of Lynchburg, MO and Stephen C. Hendrix and wife Sen of Marshall; fourteen grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; seven siblings, J.C. Beavers of Marshall, Fran Campbell (Willard) of Mountain Home, Ellen Doshier of Siloam Springs, Greenberry Beavers (Helen) of Lonoke, Pam Cannada (Eddie) of Marshall, Bill Beavers (Chere') of Greenbrier and Marsha Holder (Brian) of Bentonville; and many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Notie is preceded in death by her parents, Fount and Colima Beavers; and her husband, Norman Denver Hendrix.

Funeral services for Notie will be 12:00 PM Saturday, January 29th, 2022 at Roller-Coffman Chapel in Marshall, Arkansas with Bro. J.E. Wadkins officiating. Burial will follow in McMahan Cemetery near Snowball where Notie will be laid to rest beside her husband, Norman. Friends and family will serve as bearers.
