John Harold Parnell, 71, of Hughes, Arkansas passed away Monday January 3, 2022. John is proceeded in death by his parents Gene and Annie Faye Parnell; Three brothers Wilbur, Bobby and David Parnell; Two sisters Donna Stokes and Sarah Faye Parnell. John is survived by two sons John Allen Parnell and Jacob Lee Parnell; Two sisters Vickie Parnell and Judy Butler; three brothers Michael, Larry, and Gary Parnell; six grandkids Anna, Danni, Connor, Cami, Brooklynn, and Jaxon; and a slew of cousins, nieces and nephews.

John was a Vietnam veteran and was very proud to have served his country. In his spare time, you could usually find him visiting with his friends at the U-Haul store, watching his favorite television show, or playing his solitaire game on his phone. John was the type of person to where if he didn't give you a hard time, then he didn't like you.

There will be no services at this time, but a memorial will be held at a later date. He will be greatly missed.
