Cathy Lynn Rice, 40, of Clarksville, died Monday, December 27, 2021, in Fort Smith. She was born December 18, 1981, in Clarksville to Jerry Wayne Bohannon and Diana Lynn Melton. Cathy was deeply devoted to her family. She spent much time with her son, Jackson, and filled her house with children often. Cathy loved stock-car racing and pulled many family and friends along with her into that hobby. She also enjoyed camping, floating, deer-hunting, and many other outdoor activities.
She is survived by her fiancé, Jason Belt; her loving mother and father, Diana and Clint Melton; step-mother, Lois Bohannon; one son, Jackson Rice; one step-son, Skylar Belt; one step-daughter, Ariana Belt; her twin brothers Danny Wayne Bohannon and wife Raven and David Ray Bohannon and wife Kayla; one sister, Deidre Correa and husband Valentin; and one brother-in-law, John Rice and wife Nicole; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She is preceded in death by her father Jerry Wayne Bohannon; her husband Daniel Rice; her grandparents, David and Berniece Higby; and her grandmother and step-grandfather, Betty Jo and Bueldean McFadden.
A visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Thursday, December 30, 2021, at Roller-Cox Funeral Home. A funeral service will be 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home followed by interment at Hickey Cemetery.
