Ramona Lee Palmer Riddle, age 77, passed away the morning of November 29, 2021 at Unity Hospital in Searcy, AR. On November 23, after attending her granddaughter's birthday party, she suffered a heart attack followed by a stroke. Although surgery was performed and a brief period of stability followed, she eventually succumbed to complications.

Ramona, more commonly known as Babe or Baby, was born in Searcy, AR in her grandmother's home, on August 9, 1944.

Babe attended Searcy High School throughout her entire school career and remained friends with those from school until the very end. She was named SHS Homecoming Queen in 1961, crowned by her high school sweetheart, George Riddle.

She was quite an original woman who always worked hard and loved her family. She also knew how to laugh and have fun. Everyone who knew Babe will be telling her stories for years to come.

She is survived by her son Lane Riddle and wife Mona, daughter Lee Riddle Teed and husband Paul; one brother Billy 'Bo' Palmer, one sister Linda Inboden and husband Bill.; grandchildren: Brooke, Colton, Madison, Marlee, Emily and Hayley, great grandson Lukas, nephew Reagan, nieces Debbie and Julie.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Lewis and Retha Palmer, and her brother, Darrel Palmer.

A memorial service will be held to honor her life on December 4, 4pm at Roller Daniel Funeral Home in Searcy, AR. In lieu of flowers, please make any donations to Compassion International, a child sponsorship program https://www.compassion.com/donate-to-charity.htm.
