Pamela Ann Doherty

of Marion, AR

May 25, 1971 - November 10, 2021

On November 10, 2021, Pamela passed away at the age of 50 years old. Services will be held at First Marion in Marion, Arkansas. Visitation will be from 9:00 am to 11:00 am at First Marion. Graveside service will be immediately after at Crittenden County Cemetery in Marion. All family and friends are invited.

Pam graduated from Wynne High School and received her degree in Marketing from Belmont University in Nashville. She worked at W. M. Barr in Memphis immediately after graduating from college. She also worked at First Marion as a Ministry Assistant and Marion Elementary school.

Pam was born in Denver, Colorado and at age seven, moved to Wynne, Arkansas. Pam met the love of her life, John Doherty, and moved to Marion, Arkansas. They had two beautiful children, Bradford, and Megan. These three were Pam's life. Their happiest time was just being together, playing games and watching movies at home, going to sporting events, and cheering on her children. Pam never missed an activity of Bradford and Megan. Pam treasured time spent with her mom, dad, and brother. She loved to help her mom decorate for the Holidays, the annual Christmas trip to the Peabody with her dad, and talks with her brother. Her grandmother, Dorothy Barnwell, known as Grandma Dot, was her most significant influence. She was Pam's greatest prayer warrior. Pam went to be with her Lord on her Grandma Dot's birthday.

Her relationship with Jesus Christ was one of the most important aspects of her life. She loved her Lord in every aspect. She loved singing praises to the Lord. Pam will be remembered by her family and friends for her kindness and humility; she lit up the room with her smile. She was kind and gracious, more of a listener, always setting an example for others to follow. Pam trusted the Lord in every aspect of her life. She was a testament to each one of us.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents; Hubert and Dorothy Barnwell; Thomas and Lillian McGraw.
She is survived by her husband, John Doherty; one son, Bradford Doherty; one daughter, Megan Doherty. She is also survived by her parents, Dan and Bev McGraw; and brother, Scott McGraw (Sunny McGraw). She is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. She will be remembered and loved by all who knew her.
