It's with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our loved one, Jacqueline Mason, on October 2, 2021.

Jacqueline "Jackie" Reed was born in Chicago, IL. It was there that she met her Husband, Arthur Ralph Mason from De Valls Bluff, AR, during a church service. Jackie moved to Sherwood Arkansas where they married and raised their two children, Arthur (Ralph) Mason and Joanne Mason.

Jackie was very involved within the community and served as Worthy Matron of Sylvan Hills Order of Eastern Star. She led an active life full of travel, rockhounding, camping with friends, fishing and was a member of the Sylvan Hills United Methodist Church.

In 2002 Jackie and Arthur moved to New Orleans, LA, to be closer to their children.

After 65 years of marriage Arthur passed away in 2005.

Jackie's goal had since been to make it to 100 years old, which she gracefully achieved.

She was healthy and active up until the last few weeks of her life.

She peacefully passed on October 2nd with her family holding her.

Jackie is survived by her children, Arthur (Ralph) Mason (Kris), Joanne Mason Sealy: Grandchildren, Candice Shawn Michelle Mason, Arthur (Art) Ralph Mason; 7 Great Grandchildren and 3 Great Great Grandchildren.

Visitation is Tuesday, October 19, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Roller-Owens Funeral Home in North Little Rock.

A funeral service is scheduled for Wednesday, October 20, at 1:00 p.m. at the Arkansas State Veteran's Cemetery in North Little Rock where she will be laid to rest next to her Beloved Arthur.
