Ralph LeMarr was born December 18, 1925, in the Campbell community in rural Searcy County, Arkansas. He was the youngest son of James Harvey LeMarr and Pearlie Massey LeMarr. He went to be with the Lord on October 12, 2021. At the time of passing he was a resident of Hillcrest Home in Harrison, Arkansas, following a gradual decline in health since suffering a fall in 2018.

Ralph enlisted in the United States Marine Corps in 1943 and served in the South Pacific on Saipan, in the battle of Okinawa, and during the occupation of Japan. After WWII he married Joie Mae Richardson of Thola, Arkansas, in 1947, and they had two daughters, Ralpholene and Cynthia. After farming for a few years in Arkansas, Ralph worked in the Wichita, Kansas, aircraft industry for over 30 years. After Joie died in 1961, Ralph married Zela Richardson, also of Thola. They lived in Benton, Kansas, and Valley Center, Kansas, until Ralph's retirement in 1988 when they moved to Harrison, Arkansas, where Zela passed away in 2010. They enjoyed gardening and sharing their produce.

In addition to Joie and Zela, Ralph was preceded in death by his parents; his oldest daughter, Ralpholene; and his brothers Rutherford, Clayton, and Ray LeMarr. He is survived by his daughter Cynthia and her husband Philip Thomas of Ridgedale, Missouri; son-in-law Johnnie Thompson; grandchildren John Michael Thompson (Heidi), Cameron Thompson (Kelly), Ashley Thomas Mann (Josiah), Brian Thomas (Lauren), and Luke Thomas; great-grandchildren Evan Thompson, Margo Thompson, Dylan Gray, Charlotte Thomas, and Joseph Thomas; and nieces, nephews, and friends who remember him as an encourager and a prayer warrior.

In younger years, Ralph enjoyed square dancing at the Leslie, Arkansas Homecoming and was reputed to be quite a good caller. He also loved to learn, and in spite of limited formal education, he studied farm mechanics and aircraft sheet metal assembly after WWII, and later earned ministerial credentials through Berean Academy of the Assemblies of God.
Ralph accepted Jesus Christ as Savior in 1959 and served the Lord the rest of his life. He was a charter member of Timbo Valley Assembly of God in Timbo, Arkansas; attended Andover Assembly and Valley Center Assembly in Kansas, and since 1988 was a member of Harrison Faith Assembly. He occasionally provided fill-in or interim church ministry, but his real passion was jail ministry in Sedgwick County and Harvey County, Kansas, and Boone County, Arkansas. He was also involved in Faith Assembly's prayer ministry team.
Even as his health declined, Ralph prayed regularly for his family and friends, literally until his last days on earth. Hillcrest Home staff enjoyed stopping by to pray with him and he prayed for them as well. His faithfulness and dedication will be greatly missed.

Funeral services for Ralph will be 11:00 AM Saturday, October 16th, 2021 at Roller-Coffman Chapel in Marshall, Arkansas with Bro. Arlis Thrasher officiating. Visitation will be 10-11 AM preceding the service. Burial will be in Alco Cemetery where Ralph will be laid to rest with Military Honors. Friends and family will serve as bearers.
