Elizabeth Kimmons of Marion, Arkansas, passed away on September 23, 2021, at age 73. Elizabeth was born in Dyess, Arkansas on July 26, 1948 to her parents, Elmer Louis and Emma McAlister Jones.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Mack Jones.

Elizabeth is survived by her husband, Clark Kimmons; daughter, Beth Davison (Mike) of Jonesboro, Arkansas; 2 grandchildren, Brandon Davison and Hannah Davison of Jonesboro; 2 brothers, Kenneth Lee Jones (Glenna) and Gill Louis Jones (Laverne); sister, Brenda Howell (Billy); brother-in-law, Bill Kimmons; 2 sisters-in-law, Kathy Duvall (Bo) and Frances Medlin (Tom); and niece, Glenna Whisenand.

She was a lifelong Methodist and attended the First United Methodist Church in West Memphis where she enjoyed the John Mac Smith Sunday School Class. She worked in the transportation industry as a traffic manager.

Elizabeth was a loving wife, mother, sister and grandmother. She especially enjoyed spending time with her two grandchildren who affectionately called her ''Big Moma.'' She loved telling them that she would ''dance at their wedding'' if they completed a task she had requested. Their humorous reply was always ''you will be dancing all night.'' Her life was an example of a caring, patient and hard-working woman. She will be deeply missed and remembered with love by her family, friends, and co-workers.

Visitation will be held at the First United Methodist Church in West Memphis on Wednesday, September 29, 2021 10:00 am 11:00 am, with the funeral service immediately following. The interment will be at Crittenden Memorial Park in Marion, Arkansas.

The family would like to thank Elizabeth's friends and the healthcare facilities who loved and cared for her as follows: First United Methodist Church and her John Mac Smith Sunday School Class in West Memphis, her Family Dollar family, Kellie McDaniel, Peggy Jones, Annette Walker, Madonna Beith, Curt Devoe and Eva Ballard, Kay Kay Davis and the Willowbend staff, Elite Hospice team, Baptist East Hospital room 5380 South 5th floor, and her bunco friends for over 40 years.
