Billie Jean Hargrove Ferren, 88, of Clinton, passed away September 21, 2021. Billie was a Christian and enjoyed helping people. She did volunteer work, such as leading cancer support groups, every chance she could. Billie was a wonderful wife, mom, and mamaw. She loved her family dearly and always put them first. She worked as a nurse most of her life and loved patient care. Billie was very dedicated to her job. She drove from the Ozark Mountains to St. Vincent Infirmary in Little Rock, even in bad winter weather, and never missed a day of work. Years after her retirement, she still received cards and gifts in the mail from former patients and their families.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Luther and Thelma Hargrove, and her husband of 67 years, Buddy Ferren. She is survived by sisters, Joy Burwinkle and Arleen Smith; son, Bob Ferren and wife Beth; daughter, Deanie Ferren Jackson and husband Glyen; adopted family, Carole and Tonny Yeung; grandchildren, John and Lori Ferren, Thomas Yeung, Kevin and Brandy Sanchez, Chris Sanchez, Eric and Keri Ferren, Jonathan and Judith Jackson, Emily and Colton Gregory, and Josh Ferren; and great grandchildren, Posey and Parker Ferren, Ashley Sanchez, Brantley and Brennan Ferren, Brodie Jackson, and Matilda Ferren Gregory.

Due to Covid-19 there will be no funeral. The immediate family will be having a private memorial service.
