Ben J. Morgan, born on January 20, 1926, died peacefully on September 14, 2021. Ben loved life, family, farming, and his country. He proudly served his country in the US Navy during World War II on the USS Tingey.
An avid outdoorsman, Ben enjoyed sharing his love for hunting and the outdoors with his son, grandchildren, and friends.
In his later years, Ben could be found having coffee with friends at the round table at Country Kitchen or pursing his gift for making duck calls. He lived each day to the fullest and never stopped planning for the next project. Ben was a man with many talents and interests and was an inspiration to all that knew him.
Ben is survived by the love of his life, his sweetheart for 74 years, Odell Smith Morgan. They have two children, Renee Morgan Pembroke, Darrell (Tina) Morgan; five grandchildren, Bentley (Kristen) Pembroke, Morgan Cooley, Sophie Cooley, Ashley Morgan, Amber Morgan (Clint) Herring; and two great grandchildren, Kai Cooley and Bentley Pembroke.
Ben was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ben McKinley (Myrtle) Morgan.

Visitation will be held on Saturday at 10:00AM at Roller-Daniel Funeral Home Chapel followed by Graveside service at 11:00AM at White County Memorial Gardens with Military Honors.
