Richard H. Woolard, 87 of Howard's Ridge passed away peacefully in the early morning of September 14, 2021.
He was born on July 20, 1934 in Fredonia, Kansas. He spent his young adulthood traveling the world while serving in the Air Force. He went on to start his family on the West Coast before moving to Ozark County.
He married Shirley Peerson in May of 1957 and had three children.
Richard has gone on to join the Lord along with wife Shirley and daughter Shari Trivitt. He is survived by son Rick Woolard, daughter Stacie Davis, Grandchildren Justin Trivitt, Misti Butterfly, and Randi Grant. Great Grandchildren Jordan, Jillian, and Adeline Trivitt, Ryan and Kaleigh Snyder, and Marli and Sy Grant.
Richard loved to spend his days watching his flowers grow, listening to his birds sing, and sharpening his knives.
Funeral services will kept private due to Covid-19. The family is under the care of Roller Funeral Home.
