David Alan Brasfield

of West Memphis, AR

February 19, 1967 - September 10, 2021

David Alan Brasfield, 54 of West Memphis, Arkansas passed on Friday, September 10, 2021.

Celebration of Life Services will begin at 11am at Roller Citizens Funeral Home on Friday September 17th, and a burial service held directly after at Crittenden Memorial.

Mr. Brasfield was born on Feb 19, 1967 in West Memphis. He owns and operates several businesses; A1 Affordables, A1 Salvage and A1 Wrecker and Diesel Service. He loved spending time with his wife and best friend Gilbert Beaver. He enjoyed building wreckers, cars and rebuilding houses. He spent most of his off time either looking for deals at the pawn shops with Kim, or playing fetch with his dog Minnie.

He loved football and watching chick flix with his girls. Many people that grew up with him would be shocked to know that after having three daughters David grew to love flowers, candles, fuzzy socks and any movie with Reese Witherspoon or Anne Hathaway. He was a jack of all trades, and could fix anything, but most importantly, he was a family man; Not just to his own family-but to anyone the kids brought to the house David would make sure to look at the air in all four tires and would never fail to ask if they had checked their oil.

David was a devoted husband and nothing in life gave him more joy than to make Kim happy. He was always laughing at Kim and her funny made up songs and bits. He was a doting and supportive father who never missed a school play or awards ceremony or soccer game. He was a faithful and generous friend you could always depend on.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Lori B. Taylor. David is survived by his wife of 31 years, Kim Brasfield and his four children. Casey Brasfield, Micah Ralph and her husband Mark and their son Maverick, Maggie Brasfield and Bear Brasfield. His parents Cotton and JoAnn Brasfield and brother Donald Brasfield. As well as his two beloved dogs, Minnie and Riley.

Due to Covid-19 concerns, the family has mandated masks to be worn for the service. There will not be a public visitation.
