Betty F. Walsh, 90, of Mountain View, Arkansas, passed away Thursday, September 2, 2021, at Floyd's Medical Center in Rome, Georgia. She was born January 9, 1931, in Rockford, Illinois, the daughter of William and Alta (Shrum) Purvis.

She married Robert T. Walsh on October 10, 1950. She was an accomplished keyboard player and her smile and music will forever be missed.

In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Robert, in 2012; brother, William Purvis; sisters and brothers-in-law, Deloris (Bob) Schanenberg, Doris (Allen) Gittleson, and Juanita (Homer) Williams.

Betty is survived by six children, Dolly (Britt) Hallenbeck of Penn Yann, New York, William (Kathleen) Walsh of Dallas, Georgia, Joyce Walsh of Cookeville, Tennessee, Linda Lunzer of Winchester, Virginia, Mary (Ed) Schuster of McHenry, Illinois, and Michael Walsh of Crystal Lake, Illinois; sister, Veneta (Jack) Campbell from Stevens Point, Wisconsin; 12 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.

Visitation for Betty is Tuesday, September 7, 2021 from 10:00-11:00 am at Roller Crouch Chapel in Mountain View, Arkansas.

Funeral Service will follow the visitation beginning at 11:00 am with Brother Junior Barham officiating.

Pallbearers are her beloved family.

Interment will be at Kelley Ford Cemetery in Mountain View, Arkansas.
