Elvira Martin Leavitt, age 79 of Marshall, Arkansas left this world on Sunday, August 22nd, 2021 at NARMC in Harrison, Arkansas and went to join her beloved Bradley. She was born in McAfee, New Jersey on October 28th, 1941 to Walter Martin and Maryetta Babcock Martin.

Elvira was a long-time resident of Lafayette and was an employee of the County of Sussex in New Jersey. She and her husband Bradley retired to Arkansas to enjoy the natural beauty and quiet life.

Survivors include her children, Arthur V. Leavitt of Marshall, Mary Westbrook of Hardyston, NJ, Paul Leavitt and wife Denice of Marshall, Robin Dunn and husband Donald of Norfolk, VA and Kelly Leavitt and wife Ann of Wantage, NJ; brother, Leo Martin and wife Alice of Montague, NJ; seven grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

Elvira is preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Maryetta Martin; husband, Bradley Dean Leavitt who passed away in 2012; her brothers Walter Jr., Raymond, James, Joseph, and sister Eleanor White.

All services will be private per Elvira's wishes. Memorial donations may be made in her name to the Searcy County Humane Society, PO Box 543, Marshall, AR 72650.
