Calvin Eugene Williams, 92, of Mountain View, Arkansas passed away on July 12, 2021, at White River Medical Center in Batesville, Arkansas. Calvin was born on July 23, 1928 in Logansport, Louisiana to the late Israel Odin and Verna May Hollingsworth Williams. Calvin's last position was a contractor for Shell Oil Company and will be greatly missed by all of his loving family and friends. Calvin is survived by three sons, Larry Williams, wife, Darcey Williams, stepson, Daniel Gutierrez, daughter Kathryn Renee Johnson, her spouse, Michael Johnson, their child and Calvin's great grandson, Christopher Johnson; middle son, David Williams, wife Loretta Williams, their daughters, Helen Maria Williams, Catarina Elaine Clarkson and her spouse, Kyle Clarkson; and youngest son, Ronnie Williams; three step-daughters, Cheryl Gabehart, Martha Coffey, and Laura Clark, along with many extended family and friends. Calvin was preceded in death by his parents, Israel Odin and Verna Mae Hollingsworth Williams; wife, Polly Williams and step brother, Donald Caddell of Levelland, Texas. Calvin with his wife Polly retired to Mountain View due to their love of bluegrass music and both were volunteer musicians at the Ozark Folk Center State Park. A memorial service honoring Calvin's life will be held on Friday, July 15, 2022, 10:00 AM at Flatwoods Cemetery. The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of White River Medical Center in Batesville, Arkansas, for the loving comfort and care provided.
