Hiram Renfroe of Marion Arkansas died July 9, 201 at home surrounded by his loving family. Hiram was a member of the First United Methodist Church of West Memphis, Arkansas since 1955.

He was preceded in death by his parents George and Theresa Renfroe, his three sisters, Sue Swan, Jerry Finney and Marion Gallagher and one grandson ''Peanut Renfroe''. Hiram is survived by the love of his life Marilyn Renfroe of Marion, Arkansas, two sons, Rand Renfroe of Marion, Arkansas, Kent Renfroe (Carol), of Marion, Arkansas and one daughter Elaine Ryan (Peter) of South Carolina. He had eight grandchildren and fourteen great grandkids. Two of them lived here with him they were the apple of his heart.

Hiram was described by his family as living a long wonderful Christian life. A lot went on between his birth in Alligator, Mississippi to his final hour in Marion, Arkansas. After a tour in the Army, he went to work selling physical therapy ultrasound equipment. Traveling many miles between calls. By 1958 he started ''Renfroe Medical'' and it continues to this day. Hiram married the love of his life Marilyn and remained in love for over 70 years. He loved spending time with his family. They took trips to the Grand Canyon and trout fishing at Spring River in Hardy, Arkansas. When he was in his 70s he bought land out in the country so he could garden and be outdoors all the time.

I thank God for allowing me to be my father's son. He was the best dad any boy could have ever wished to have. I will miss him forever.
