Phyllis Louise Brown Springer, 71, of Starkville, MS, passed away Tuesday, July 6, 2021. She was born October 23, 1949 in Dyess, AR to Hollis ''Buster'' and Esther Brown. Phyllis was of the Baptist Faith, was a member of Dyess Central Baptist Church and was a loving house wife. She was a former employer at American Greetings and played Pro Basketball with The Southern Belles. She never met a stranger, enjoyed talking to people and enjoyed her pets. She is survived by her husband Mike Springer; her brothers: Albert (Marilyn) Brown, Tony Brown and Pete Brown; sister: Sharon Gann; and many nieces and nephews who she loved as her own children. She is preceded in death by her parents; brother: Paul Brown; sister: Gloria Janie Brown.
