Linda Cooper, 59, a resident of Magazine, passed away Friday, July 2, 2021, at Paris Heath and Rehabilitation Center.

She was born May 25, 1962, in Kansas City, Missouri to the late Carl and Neva (Myers) Whitson. Linda retired from Paris Health and Rehabilitation Center after ten years of service. For Linda, family was everything and therefore, spent her spare time enjoying each of them.

Survivors include a daughter, Angela Melendez of Magazine; two grandchildren, Leo Snodgrass of Magazine and Syrus Snodgrass, due to arrive in September 2021; five brothers, David Whitson of Paris, Danny Whitson of Paris, Dean Whitson of Donavan, Missouri, Steven Whitson of Daytona Beach, Florida and Michael Whitson of Paris; four sisters, Joyce Frantz of Booneville, Karla Black Hatman of Clarksville, Robin Holley of Clarksville and Stacie Friemel of Subiaco and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, July 24, 2021, at Harmony Assembly of God near Paris with Rev. Tammy Frederick officiating. A gathering of family and friends will follow at Michael and Misty Whitson's Home, 2457 East Brown Street, Paris, AR 72855. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Roller Funeral Home in Paris.
