Edward Dale Jobe, 80, of Rose Bud, passed away on June 30, 2021 at his home surrounded by his loved ones. He was born in Rose Bud to Edward Franklin and Mary Leone Lester Jobe on May 11, 1941. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one sister, Erma Deene Fritts and one son, Brent Edward Jobe.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Revenna Folkner Jobe; his children, Michelle Jobe of Searcy and Denny (Cristy) Jobe of Mt. Vernon; three grandchildren, Emily (James) Dement, Kaylea Jobe and Dylan Jobe; one great grandchild, Marlow Dement all of Mt. Vernon.

Edward Dale was an avid collector and junker of all things for many years. He loved to hunt and fish with his greatest passion being hunting for quail. He loved sports including baseball, softball and basketball. He was well known for letting the officials know if he did not agree with their call. But the greatest joy for him he enjoyed following his grandkids around and supported them in anything that they did.

Services for Edward Dale are set for Visitation will be held at Roller-Daniel Funeral Home Chapel on Monday evening, July 5, 2021 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM. The Funeral Service will be on Tuesday, July 6, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church in Mt. Vernon, AR. Dylan Jobe, Wesley Booker, Jimmy Hawkins, Paul Brewer, Todd Sherrill, James Dement, Jeff Chandler and Brian Chandler will serve as Pallbearers.
