James Darrell Hill, 44, a resident of Paris, passed away Sunday, June 13, 2021, at his home.

He was born July 9, 1976, in Dayton, Ohio to James Marshall Woody and Mary Sue (Milum) Hill. James worked as a supervisor for Wal Mart in Dayton, Ohio for 15 years before moving to Arkansas. He then worked for five years at Cloyes Gear as a supervisor and most recently at Butterball in Ozark for three years. In his spare time, James loved playing pool and was pretty sure he was the ''pool king'', listening to music and cracking jokes. If you ever spoke to James, you know he was known for his many sayings such as ''What Up Doe'', What It Do'' or ''Baby Girl''. For James, his family was top of his list, always giving them what they needed.

James was preceded in death by his father; a brother, Michael Joseph Hill; paternal grandparents, - Arnold; maternal grandparents, Clifford ''Jack'' and Beulah Milum and three uncles, Richard, Samuel ''Sambo'', and Chester Milum.

Survivors include his mother, Mary Sue Hill of Paris; a brother, Robert Allen Milum and wife, Marilyn of Paris; a sister, Angela Y. Hill of Dayton, Ohio; four aunts, Jeannea Collier of Paris, Rosetta Graham of Paris, Martha ''Mott'' Pruitt of Anderson, South Carolina and Rosa Arnold of Easley, South Carolina; three uncles, Mac Milum and wife, Belinda of Paris, John Milum and wife, Kay of Dayton, Ohio and Michael Arnold of Honea Path, South Carolina; his best friend, Darrell Shouweiler of Paris and numerous nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, June 19, 2021, at Roller Funeral Home in Paris. Burial will be private under the direction of Roller Funeral Home in Paris.
