John Anthony Swartz, Sr. 84, of Damascus, AR passed away Tuesday, May 11, 2021. Mr. Swartz was born in Chicago, IL on Tuesday, January 19, 1937 to the late Richard and Irene Swartz. John served our country as Military Police in the United States Air Force during the 1950's. He later attended the University of Missouri in Columbia, MO. Later in life, Mr. Swartz owned and operated different businesses in the trucking industry and in real estate. Mr. Swartz was of the Primitive Baptist Faith.

John Anthony Swartz is survived by two sons; John Anthony Swartz, Jr. (Lisa) and Richard Swartz (Christy) Four grandchildren; Casey Pavao (Travis), William Swartz, Grace Swartz, and Micah Swartz. One great grandson; Jaxon Pavao.

Mr. Swartz is preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers; Dick Swartz, Bill Swartz, and Fritz Swartz and 1 sister; Mary Swartz.
