Deana Rene Gregory, age 61, of Helena, Arkansas passed away Friday, May 7, 2021, surrounded by family and friends in Bentonville, Arkansas. She was born June 27, 1959 in Helena to the late Odis Dean and Lois Evelyn Smith Gregory.

Deana was employed at the Isle of Capri Hotel where she loved interacting with guests and never met a stranger. She was known for her quick wit, remembrance of times, dates, numbers and the ability to strike up an in-depth conversation with anyone.

She is survived by her two daughters, Dusty Haynes and Jackie Chisnall (Chad) of Jonesboro, Arkansas; son, Drew Haynes (Robin) of Virginia Beach, Virginia; four grandchildren, Collin Chisnall (Haiden), Caleb Chisnall, Morgan McSpadden (Cameron) and Riley Haynes; sister, Mona Benefield (Blake); brother, Phillip Gregory (Shawndus); sister in law, Vickie Gregory; a special friend, Melanie Martin and Tycie Tose; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Odie Dean Gregory, Jr.

A funeral service for Deana Rene Gregory will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 12, 2021 at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home in West Helena, Arkansas. Visitation will be held at 10:00 a.m., prior to the service. Burial to follow at Sunset Memorial Park in West Helena.

Pallbearers are Alan Hirsch III, Tripp Gregory, Jackson Gregory, Matt Gregory, Brian Groves and Brad Storey.

Honorary pallbearers are Adrian Messina, Paul Martin and James Haynes.
