Elvin Wallace, Jr. (Sonny) went to be with the Lord peacefully on May 4th, 2021. He was born in Morrilton, Arkansas to Elvin, Sr. and Josephine Wallace on February 5th, 1941. He was the second child and first son of 15 children. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sisters; Corine Annette Reese, Ella Louise McClain, and Frances Lynn Wallace.

He was baptized at an early age at Hickory Hill Baptist Church in Morrilton, AR and served at Hopewell Presbyterian Church. He was a member of the Summit Church in N. Little Rock, AR since 2013. Sonny also performed in many productions and plays dedicated to praising and serving the Lord.

Elvin grew up on a large farm and enjoyed swimming in his family's creek and riding horses with his siblings. He graduated from Menifee High School in Menifee, AR.
Elvin later moved to Denver, CO where he worked at Coors Brewery and retired after 30 years of dedication and hard work. He enjoyed classic cars, motorcycles, football, and spending time with his family.

Elvin was a caring husband and dedicated brother, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He is survived by his loving wife, Yvonne; children, Clifton Earl Wallace (Teresa), Warren Anthony Wallace, Kimberly Sue Grissom; stepchildren, Yolanda Boyd, George Boyd; siblings, Robert Earl Wallace, Coeteal Janet Wallace (Ulysses), James Edward Wallace (Debbie), Arthur Joe Wallace (Beverly), Annie Bell House (Eddie), Billy Joe Wallace (Vanessa), Willie George Wallace (Berdina), Jerry Clifton Wallace (Yun), Thomas Harold Wallace, Susan Renee Morris (Willie), David Allen Wallace; grandchildren Kisha Wallace, Monica Cortez, Geneo Grissom (Haley), Briana Wallace, Natasia Grissom, Ashley Boyd, Dawn Boyd, Rachel Boyd, Hannah Farrar, Chloe Farrar, Kingston Boyd, Amiah Boyd; and a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Visitation will be held 1 pm, Tuesday, May 11, 2021, at Summit Church, 6600 Crystal Hill Road, North Little Rock, Arkansas ,funeral services will follow at 2 pm.
