Jerry D. Busch, 64, of Jonesboro, passed away Thursday, April 22, 2021, in Mammoth Spring. He was born February 5, 1957, in Memphis, Tennessee to Leroy Busch and Virginia L. Colbert. Jerry was in the Marine Corps for 22 1/2 years, making many achievements, earning medals and honors and serving in the Gulf War. He was a member of Assembly of God church. Mr. Busch also worked in the concrete business. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, going to the lake and camping, spending time with family and friends.

Preceding him in death are his wife, Brenda; parents, Harry and Virginia Colbert and Leroy Busch.

Survivors include son, Welby G. Busch; daughters, Jennifer (Roger) Young and Lori (Brandon) Broussard; grandchildren, Braydon Nutt, Kimber Young, Trinity Broussard, Ty Broussard and Taylor Broussard; brothers and sisters, Larry (Barbara Weeks) Busch, Mike (Belinda) Busch, Walter (Peggy) Colbert, Nancy Blackwell, Dutch (Steve) Crow, and Phyllis Colbert; several nieces, nephews, great and great-great nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home, Wednesday, April 28, at 11:00am with Brent Busch, Tim Busch, John Cook, Tim Hardin, Kyle Hardin and Devon Jarrett serving as pallbearers. Jeff Weir will officiate. Burial follows at Arkansas Veterans Cemetery in Birdeye at 1:00pm.
Visitation will be Tuesday, April 27, at the funeral home from 5:00pm to 7:00pm.
