Kenneth Tucker, 72, a resident of Paris, passed away Thursday, April 22, 2021, at his home.
He was born April 28, 1948, in Paris to the late Willie and Lavada (Bray) Tucker. Kenneth served his country in the United States Army during Vietnam. He married Yvonne (Preston) Tucker on June 4, 1971, in Booneville. Kenneth spent his working years in the oil and gas drilling industry and retired from Nabors Drilling. Kenneth was an avid woodworker and loved being outdoors. After retiring, he purchased a sawmill which he used to build several projects for his family.
In addition to his parents, Kenneth was preceded in death by a brother, Lawrence Tucker and four sisters, Laverne Cobb, Veneda Smith, Sylvia Anderson and Florence Corley.
Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Yvonne Tucker of Paris; a son, Kevin Tucker and wife, Elissa of Springdale; two daughters, Marilyn McKown and husband, Chris of Dover and Carla Moore and husband, David of Paris; seven grandchildren, Garrett and Lauren McKown, Cheyanne and Cameron Moore and Oliver, Ella and Charlotte Tucker; a brother, Luther Tucker of Lawton, Oklahoma and three sisters, Dovie Johnson of Clarksville, Freeda Willis of Cameron, Oklahoma and Kathy McNeese of Cleburne, Texas.
Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Friday, April 23, 2021, at Roller Funeral Home in Paris.
The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, April 24, 2021, at Roller Funeral Home Chapel in Paris with Rev. Ricky White and Mr. Neal Preston officiating. Burial will follow in Corley Cemetery near Paris under the direction of Roller Funeral Home in Paris.
Pallbearers will be Chris McKown, Garrett McKown, David Moore, Melvin Thomas, Daniel Walker and Raymond Harrison.
