Claire Elizabeth Smith, our 22-year-old, precious ''Claire Bear'', was carried into Heaven by the Lord she loved on Sunday, April 4, 2021. Although she battled a Congenital Heart Defect since she was born, she was full of life and touched so many who knew her. She never complained and always had a smile on her face. She adored her sister Abby, her cousin Joey and her two special Indiana aunts, Kay and Kathy who didn't miss one of her four heart surgeries. Claire enjoyed several family vacations during her life, including her favorite Disney Cruises. Recently, she began making bracelets and had a Facebook page called Mended Hearts. She loved making bracelets for people and sharing her story about her heart defect. Claire always wanted to help others.

Claire is survived by her Mom and Dad, Greg and Lori Smith; her sister Abby and her loving dogs, Kendall, Kylie, and Meka. She's also survived by her grandparents; Lee and Syble Smith and Lee Ann Skinner; 5 aunts, 5 uncles; 9 cousins, and one very special cousin, Eloise that she adored, and so many friends. A drop in ''Claire-a-bration'' will be held Saturday, April 10, 2021, from 1-4 pm, at the home of Greg and Lori Smith.

We want to thank all of our gracious friends and the wonderful people at Children's Hospital in Little Rock. Claire's imperfect heart is now perfect and we are at peace knowing that Claire is in heaven. Her cardiologist, Dr. Eudice Fontenot, said it best, ''Claire is not in our past, she is in our future.'' We can't wait to be reunited with our Claire Bear.
